It was a small thing that was a small thing and also a big thing. What I mean is that I was enjoying a beautiful day on the water onthe 1st of September, 2024, at Bowness Park and the air was warm and the trees were still green. Then this small, dying leaf floated past, reminding me paddle boarding season would end soon. It was a crushing moment.
